Mr. Itua currently serves as Executive Director at TrustArthur Group, a Non-Interest financial and investment advisory firm licensed under Nigerian regulatory frameworks. Under his leadership, TrustArthur has developed and implemented several high-impact initiatives.

At TrustArthur Group, Mr. Itua has played a central role in advancing Nigeria’s Non-Interest financial ecosystem. He led the team that designed the comprehensive risk management framework for the ₦250 billion Non-Interest MOFI Real Estate Investment Fund (MREIF) in partnership with the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MOFI). The initiative seeks to mobilise ethical capital for real estate and infrastructure development while strengthening governance and investor protection. He is also currently leading the multi-institutional team responsible for developing the Non-Interest Finance Window of the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria (FMBN), which will serve as a strategic platform for Shariah-compliant mortgage and investment products across the housing value chain.

His extensive banking background includes senior roles at Diamond Bank, Stanbic IBTC Bank, Skye Bank, and Standard Trust Bank, where he led treasury, corporate, and investment portfolios. He also worked at the Debt Management Office (DMO), providing advisory support on public debt strategy and financial operations.

Martins is a respected voice in the Non-Interest Finance ecosystem, combining regulatory insight with practical experience in Shariah-compliant investment, asset management, and ethical product development. He has led capacity-building initiatives for financial institutions on AAOIFI and IFSB-aligned governance frameworks, and routinely advises on risk-based supervision, enterprise risk management, and sustainable finance strategy.

He holds an MBA from the University of Aberdeen (United Kingdom) and a B.Sc. in Estate Management from the University of Lagos. He has completed executive training in Islamic Finance, Shariah Governance, and Risk-Based Compliance through global and local programmes accredited by AAOIFI and other professional bodies.
